Don’t forget you can be on the other end of the spectrum too, maybe your a workaholic and have been getting up too early as you try to conquer the world each day leaving yourself exhausted.

The key to being as energetic and efficient as possible is balance. Improving your fitness will increase your body’s ability to utilise oxygen therefore making you feel more energetic, but don’t run a marathon every day. Relationships are a giant part of our lives, one that most don’t actually recognise. Take a moment, and think about the 5 people you hang around with the most, are they positive? do they have grand plans that they’re aspiring to or are they happy to let the days pass by? Your work is a giant part of your life, what kind of atmosphere do you work in? how do you feel when you’re about to leave for work? if it fills you with stress or dread, it may be time to broaden your horizons. When we’re looking for a job we send out 100’s of resumes, then when we get a job we stop searching. Why? Just because your in a job don’t fall into the trap of settling. Keep applying for other jobs or working towards your own business interests. Be ambitious, challenge yourself and chase your dreams. That will make you come alive.

Finally the most important relationship of all, your romantic relationship, your partner. Are you happy? Is your partner supportive? Your partner will have the most influence over your demeanour, so it is incredibly important to settle with the right person. It is much better to be alone that with the wrong person. If you answer straight away that you’re with the right person that’s great, but if you don’t, do you have to make a change? Some people get stuck in an unhealthy relationship their whole lives too afraid of change and uncertainty so they just settle. And the guilt of their own weakness eats at them every day, which is exhausting. There’s no better way to kill your vitality than settling. Ask yourself the hard questions, be selfish and do what is right for YOU.

If you work for someone you probably spend about 40 hours a week at your job. Do what you have to do to get where you need to be. But don’t just go home and go to sleep, go home and chase your own dreams, improve yourself and educate yourself so you can put yourself in a position where you can advance in life and get closer to your dream life whatever that may be.

Putting it off for 1 day might set you back a whole 3 months. I beg you don’t let another day slip by.. Especially when you don’t feel like it, because they are the days that define you. Add up all the days you didn’t feel like it and all the hours you spent watching tv or sleeping in and imagine you put all of that time towards your dream.. You would be well on your way!
