Could be extremely harmful to your health. If you choose to drink coffee out of a plastic cup you might want to rethink that too..</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="color: #333333;">BPA (bisphenol A)</span> is a chemical that is added to many commercial products, including food containers. </span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The results showed that those who reported watching three hours or more of TV per day had twice the risk of dying during the 8-year follow-up period than those who said they didn’t watch more than 1 hour per day.</span></p>

<p>Seems pretty obvious right? If you ask anyone if health is important, they will say yes. But do we act like it&#8217;s important? There are so many easy temptations in this day and age, food delivered at the click of a button, dirt cheap mass produced supermarket junk foods even our jobs are asking less of us, slowly we are becoming more sedentary, autonomous and lazy.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;re not jumping out of your skin right now, you must ask yourself, why not? what concessions have you made lately? have your gone for the easy option a few too many times with dinner lately? are you sleeping in and feeling sluggish? Don&#8217;t forget you can be on the other end of the spectrum too, maybe your a workaholic and have been getting up too early as you try to conquer the world each day leaving yourself exhausted.</p>
<p>The key to being as energetic and efficient as possible is balance. Improving your fitness will increase your body&#8217;s ability to utilise oxygen therefore making you feel more energetic, but don&#8217;t run a marathon every day. Find balance and you will find energy, harmony and vitality. Health is the foundation that every life is built on, so make sure yours is as solid as granite.</p>

<p>Your work is a giant part of your life, what kind of atmosphere do you work in? how do you feel when you&#8217;re about to leave for work? if it fills you with stress or dread, it may be time to broaden your horizons. When we&#8217;re looking for a job we send out 100&#8217;s of resumes, then when we get a job we stop searching. Why? Just because your in a job don&#8217;t fall into the trap of settling. Keep applying for other jobs or working towards your own business interests. Be ambitious, challenge yourself and chase your dreams. That will make you come alive.</p>
<p>Finally the most important relationship of all, your romantic relationship, your partner. Are you happy? Is your partner supportive? Your partner will have the most influence over your demeanour, so it is incredibly important to settle with the right person. It is much better to be alone that with the wrong person. If you answer straight away that you&#8217;re with the right person that&#8217;s great, but if you don&#8217;t, do you have to make a change? Some people get stuck in an unhealthy relationship their whole lives too afraid of change and uncertainty so they just settle. And the guilt of their own weakness eats at them every day, which is exhausting. There&#8217;s no better way to kill your vitality than settling. Ask yourself the hard questions, be selfish and do what is right for YOU.</p>

If you work for someone you probably spend about 40 hours a week at your job. Do what you have to do to get where you need to be. But don&#8217;t just go home and go to sleep, <span style="color: #3366ff;"><a style="color: #3366ff;" href="https://iamfearlesssoul.com/stop-asking-permission-great-motivational-speech-lisa-nichols/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">go home and chase your own dreams</a></span>, improve yourself and educate yourself so you can put yourself in a position where you can advance in life and get closer to your dream life whatever that may be.</p>
<p>Putting it off for 1 day might set you back a whole 3 months. I beg you don&#8217;t let another day slip by.. Especially when you don&#8217;t feel like it, because they are the days that define you. Add up all the days you didn&#8217;t feel like it and all the hours you spent watching tv or sleeping in and imagine you put all of that time towards your dream.. You would be well on your way! Don&#8217;t waste another day! get started now &amp; never ever look back.</p>

<p>If you want an AMAZING life be brutally honest with yourself when you answer this question.. Are you chasing your dream life? If you aren&#8217;t getting up every day with intent, you are wasting your life. Some people may think it is too hard working towards a big goal, but what is far more torturous is seeing out a mundane life knowing you could of achieved anything you set your mind to, if only you were brave enough to go for it.</p>
<p>So take this as the sign that you have been waiting for, it&#8217;s time take that chance, it&#8217;s time to make that big move, it&#8217;s time to act on that thought you&#8217;ve played over and over again in your mind. If you want an amazing life find out what it is you want, what your purpose is.. and spend every joule of energy in your body going after it. So that many years from now you can be among the very few who instead of saying &#8220;I wish&#8221; you can say &#8220;I was.&#8221;</p>

<p>What&#8217;s the one activity which just the thought of has you feeling ill and tired? The action that has you thinking you&#8217;d rather go on a date with your ex! than do it?<br />
For me (and I bet you too), it was running. I used to despise running and those who ran. My friends and I would joke that these people were only trying to show off how fit they were.. But then it all changed..</p>
<p>Deep down I wanted to <span style="color: #3366ff;"><a style="color: #3366ff;" href="https://iamfearlesssoul.com/say-yes-opportunity/">change</a></span>; I wanted to walk up a flight of stairs and not feel winded; I wanted to be able to sit anywhere in public transport (I couldn’t walk to the backseats without getting stuck in the aisles, so I had to use the front seats); Wishing I could walk confidently in my neighborhood without kids yelling “Kanono!” (Loosely translates to fat person in Swahili) whenever they saw me; I wanted to feel comfortable in my own skin.</p>
<p>One day a ‘fit&#8217; friend of mine asked me to join her for a morning run. I didn&#8217;t want to look like a downer so I had to say yes. Cursing myself so much the next morning (in my head of course) when she woke me up at 5.30 am.</p>
<p>I ran about 100 meters.. ran is an overstatement, it was more of a fast walk.. well not really.. I was plodding.. Dying, literally. I couldn&#8217;t catch my breath, so I dropped to my knees. I was sweating profusely; everything ached.. everything. I felt like my brain was shutting down.</p>

<p>After that day I had all the reasons in the world to quit running as most of my friends did. But I had a strong why. Strong because it was linked to powerful emotions: anger and self-pity. I would ignore passersby in the neighborhood who looked at me with pity; some would laugh because of how much I was panting and sweating (looking back now I guess I must have looked ridiculous) but I didn&#8217;t care. I gave up so many times, but my reasons for running wouldn&#8217;t let me stop.</p>

<p>So how did I manage to stay on course you ask?</p>
<p>I learned how to convert my &#8220;don&#8217;t want to&#8217;s&#8221; to &#8220;can&#8217;t wait to&#8217;s.&#8221;</p>
<p>I used these ways to find and maintain my motivation:</p>
<h2><strong>1. Have something to lose</strong></h2>
<p>As time went by and I could run longer distances (thanks to my ‘why’), the self-pity turned into confidence; I observed the pitiful stares turned into looks of admiration and for a moment, everything in my life was great. I was at peace.<br />
If I stopped running I would go back to square one; the admiration would disappear; the confidence would go away. I hated square one. So I kept going.</p>
<h2><strong>2. Be organized</strong></h2>
<p>Imagine you are swamped. This means you have at least an hour per day for working out. You can&#8217;t find a sock. Your running shoes are dirty, and you can only see one shoe though you swear you left it just where the other was. You step out the door and realize you have no keys. You go back to look for the keys. 20 minutes have passed; 40 more remaining. Your motivation and patience are running low. Time is too far gone. You get frustrated and decide that tomorrow will undoubtedly be the day. Cycle repeats.</p>
<h2><strong>3. Have a support system</strong></h2>
<p>This goes without saying; man is not an island. My support system was my enthusiastic dad he went out and bought a workout outfit so that he could accompany me. Having him there running with me was so inspiring because I found out I wasn&#8217;t fitter than a pensioner! And that motivated me to run faster and get fitter.<br />
PS: Being overweight shouldn’t be a hindrance to you living the life you want. Had I known this then, I wouldn’t have sought validation from other people. Yeah yeah, you think I&#8217;m saying that because I lost some weight, but the truth is, I still jiggle when I walk…I wiggle a lot. But I love myself now. And I love you too!</p>
