Let’s Talk Less About The Negative & More About The Positive In The World

Everyone wants the world to be a better place, however many are unconsciously adding to the negativity and drama that surrounds us. Let’s talk less about all the negativity in the world, and more about what is amazing and positive in the world.

We all watch the news and see things going on around us that we don’t like and we don’t want in our world but what can we do about it? We can’t stop fighting, we can’t stop wars, we can’t stop bad people from doing bad things. But what we can do, is decrease the impact it has on our world by not giving energy to it.

We don’t all need to sit around and talk about how bad things are or how horrible some people are. All that does is give more energy to these unwanted things. And when we give the things we don’t want our energy, we attract more of those unwanted things into our lives.

Whether you understand energy and the law of attraction or not, it’s obvious that things get bigger when our attention is put on it. It’s just like the famous quote from Mother Teresa:

“I will never attend an anti-war rally; if you have a peace rally, invite me”. – Mother Theresa

Even though the focus was against war, the energy was still going toward something that she didn’t want. Think about hundreds of thousands of people all putting out angry and hurtful thoughts into the world, fighting against war and violence when instead they could be focusing on what they do want in the world… And that is peace.

There are a lot of wonderful people in the world, there ARE great things happening every day that we can be thankful for and focus our energy on, so we need to talk about these things, not the bad. And yes, Unfortunately there will always be bad things happening,  but we need to make the conscious decision to always focus on the positive and see the good around us.

Let’s not wait around for someone else to do it first. We need to be the change we want to see. Be kind first, be caring and forgiving to those around you.. And soon you will start to see these things in return.
