Desmond Tutu is a cleric and theologian known for his work as an anti-apartheid and human rights activist. He was the first black South African Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town.

Born in Klerksdorp, South Africa on 7th of October 1931. He received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984 and has campaigned to fight AIDS, tuberculosis, homophobia, transphobia, poverty and racism.
