Understanding Vibrations

Everything in our universe is made of energy waves, each exhibiting different frequencies.  Moreover, each unique frequency has its own qualities and characteristics as we perceive them.

Consider even solid objects, though we may not think of these as “energy,” are also made of energy waves with unique frequencies.

Albert Einstein explained it like this:

“Concerning matter, we have been all wrong.  What we have called matter is energy, whose vibration has been so lowered as to be perceptible to the senses.  There is no matter.”

And, “…mass and energy are both but different manifestations of the same thing.”  

How Energy and Vibrations Relate to Us as Individuals

Our own individual vibration is a result of energy waves, which are constantly changing based on our perceptions.

This is known as our individual “frequency signature.”  It’s essentially the physical embodiment of our thoughts, attitudes, assumptions, and understanding.

The Law of Attraction

The Universal Law of Attraction dictates that whatever we give our attention to, whether positive or negative, we attract more of the same.

Similar frequencies are drawn to similar frequencies (“like” attracts “like”).

By raising your frequency signature, you are “matching” at a higher level.

For example, when you’re sick, depressed, or dwelling in misery, your perceived reality during that time is operating at LOW frequencies.  As a result, your vibration is lower.  Beyond that, by staying in that state of mind, by the Law of Attraction, you will attract more of the same.  More sickness, more depression, or more misery.

By raising your frequency, and thus your vibration, you will similarly attract more of the same.  Because “like attracts like,” you want to keep your unique frequency signature (your vibration) as high as possible, as often as possible.

For example, visualize droplets of water.  If two droplets of water are close to each other, they move toward each other until they become one.  This is because their vibration is similar enough to attract each other.

In contrast, think about a droplet of water and a droplet of oil.  No matter how close they get to each other, they won’t “attract” because their vibrations are not similar.

Remember – like attracts like.  So higher vibrations will attract high-vibrational experiences and opportunities (optimal health, happiness, abundance, etc.).  Likewise, lower vibrations will attract more lower-vibrational experiences (debt, illness, problematic relationships, etc.)

10 Quick Ways to Raise Your Vibration

According to Linda West, author of “The Frequency” and “Ultimate Power: The Universal Science of Love,” from a scientific standpoint, it takes 16 seconds to send out a frequency wave.

So when you want to manifest something, during the process of “wishing” to manifest your desires, you’ll need to keep your vibration as high as possible for at least 16 seconds (ideally more).

Raising your vibration is simple, because it’s only a matter of identifying things that make you feel good.  And, the better the feeling, the higher the vibration or frequency.

Very simply, if it feels good and fills you with positivity, it’s high vibration.

While these are some ideas to raise your vibration nearly instantly, keep in mind that what matters MOST is how you feel about each one.

If you see an idea here that’s associated with bad personal memories or experiences, choose something else that you associate with feeling happy.

  4. Dance
  5. Meditate
  6. Paint or draw
  7. Appreciate something or someone
  8. Give someone a warm loving hug
  9. Read uplifting inspirational material
  10. Listen to uplifting inspirational music

The more “feel-good” high-frequency activities you embrace on a daily basis, the better outcomes you’ll achieve. 

Most importantly, by raising your vibration and sustaining a high level of energy frequency, you’ll be changing your unique “frequency signature” to match and attract the qualities of life you desire most.
