Find Answers to Life’s Questions With This Powerful Practice
Everyone needs answers to life’s questions. We need answers to find our purpose, to add meaning to our lives, to our relationships, and so on. But not everyone has a mentor or guide to show them the path. Then what’s the solution, you ask?
The solution is to tune into the guide within. You see, we all have our intuition, which is actually the highest intelligence known to man. But only a few of us use the power of intuition to get the answers to life’s questions.
Most people never look for the answers in the right place. They ask themselves disempowering questions and wonder how they’ll ever get past the obstacles. They will say “why me?”
Michael Beckwith is a new thought minister, author, and founder of the Agape International Spiritual Center. In this article, we’ll learn Michael Beckwith’s method of asking empowering questions to reveal the gifts that are waiting to be unveiled in your life.
“Behind every problem is a question trying to ask itself. Behind every question is an answer trying to be revealed. Behind every answer is an action trying to take place. And behind every action is a way of life trying to be born.” – Michael Beckwith
Why We Should Ask Empowering Questions
When we seek answers to life’s questions. When we want to open the door to new opportunities, that is when we become introspective and consult our intuition.
But the problem is that we do it the wrong way. We ask “Why can’t I get past this obstacle?” “Why me?” “Why am I stuck in this negative pattern?”
These fear-based questions get us stuck in a downward spiral of emotions. The more we focus on the problem, the more we get engrossed into negativity.
The solution, then, is to change your focus. Stop looking at the negatives and start looking at the positives. And the way to do that is to ask empowering questions like the ones below.
Michael Beckwith, When we ask disempowering questions, our perception becomes small, we become reactionary, actions become busy-ness. So it’s important to ask empowering questions like the following:
Ask These Questions
1. What gift can I give to the world?
2. What is trying to emerge in my life?
3. What is my next step to take in the articulation and the living of my vision?
4. What is the vision for my life? What is the universe seeking to express through me?
5. What must I become to manifest my vision?
Beckwith says that “Becoming is our growing edge”. Where must I grow? What habits must change? What thought patterns must dissolve?”
After you ask each question, you really have to listen to your inner voice. And it goes without saying that you’d need to distance yourself from any distractions to do this practice. Once you really listen to the inner voice you’ll find that you know the answers to life’s questions aching inside your heart.
Say Yes to Life
Michael Beckwith says that we need to say yes to the “greatness, elegance, beauty, permanent prosperity, success – say yes to life”. Because what life wants to do, it will express through us. Therefore it’s important to say “yes” and let life do its work.
