<blockquote><p>Almost everything you do from the moment you wake up is habit. Habits formed from your past. Habits formed, by your consistent application &#8211; good or bad.</p></blockquote>
<p>What habits do you want to create? And what habits do you need to ELIMINATE?</p>
<blockquote><p>What habits will lead you to create a better life? What habits will lead to your BEST LIFE?</p></blockquote>
<p>Here’s some common morning habits of the most successful, and most fulfilled people in the world: Exercise. Gratitude. Journaling. Meditation. Cold showers. Correct nutrition. Breathing exercises.  Affirmations.</p>
<p>It all comes down to self-discipline. It’s easier to pick up your phone and scroll social media. But is that going to lead you to happiness? Probably not.</p>
<p>It’s much harder initially to practice self-discipline&#8230; but that is what leads to an easier life in the long term.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>How do you want to feel? If you want to feel great, if you want to feel happy and positive&#8230; do the things that happy and positive people do.</strong><br />
<strong>Practice deep gratitude.</strong><br />
<strong>Meditate.</strong><br />

<strong>Affirmations&#8230; whatever works for you. Do it daily and create the habit of positive action. It will not take long before your quality of life starts to improve.</strong></p></blockquote>
<p>There’s a common misconception that habits are formed in only 21 days. But science shows the number is more like a minimum of 66 days to form lasting, or life- long habits.</p>
<p>Are you willing to commit a minimum of 66 days, in order to change your quality of life FOREVER? Sounds like pretty fair math to me.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>Think forward to 1 year, 5 years in the future&#8230; How do you want to be living?  Would the consistent emotions you currently experience be acceptable to you if they remained the same?</strong></p></blockquote>
<p>Or is there better waiting for you? Are you committed to do that daily work?</p>
<p>According to a recent study by the World Health Organization, around 121 million worldwide people suffer from depression. Shockingly, the percentage of depression is highest among high income countries like the USA, France and Australia.</p>
<p>The truth is, the quality of our lives is not determined by where we live, how much money we earn, or even the events and circumstances of our life.</p>
<p>The quality of our lives, is merely the quality of our perspective.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>The quality of our lives, is determined by the quality of our perspective. How we see the world IS OUR WORLD.    Whatever we choose to see, will shape who we will be.</strong></p></blockquote>
<p>Whatever you choose to do, consistently, will shape how you feel, and how you feel, of course will determine the quality of your life.</p>

<h3><strong>Discovering Mantras: What Is a Mantra?</strong></h3>
<p>In the simplest terms, it’s based on two root Sanskrit words: <em>manas</em> (mind) and<em> tra </em>(tool).  <strong>So the word “mantra” literally means “mind tool” or “a tool for the mind.”</strong>  You can use mantras – either spoken aloud, internally, or chanted repetitiously &#8211; to help focus your mind. This will enhance a deeper state of awareness, most traditionally during meditation and spiritual practices.</p>
<p>The reason “mantra” and “affirmation” tend to get confused is because you can use an affirmation AS your mantra during meditation. Or, you can simply use a single word or sound.</p>
<p><strong>Using mantras as a daily meditation practice, over time, can help your mind access deeper areas of your subconscious</strong>. When seeking to make changes in our lives, we most often experience blocks due to our subconscious thoughts and beliefs.</p>
<p><a href="https://buddhaweekly.com/science-mantras-mantras-work-without-faith-research-supports-effectiveness-sanskrit-mantra-healing-even-environmental-transformation/">Thomas Ashley-Farrand, author of Mantra Meditation</a><em>, </em>writes<em>,</em> “Mantra meditation is not only something one practices, but a radical re-envisioning of ourselves, our lives and our ability to create the future we desire.”</p>

<p>Essentially, you can use mantras to start appreciating the joy of simplicity and experiencing more overall happiness.</p>
<h3><strong>How to Use a Mantra</strong></h3>
<p>Using mantras can <strong>assist in entering a deep state of meditation</strong> or <strong>to energize an intention. </strong>Repetition is key. When you find your mind wandering, bring it back to your chosen word or phrase and appreciate the simplicity of repetition.</p>
<p>There are various schools of thought about how many times you need to repeat your mantra before you notice changes in your life. Most traditionally, you would repeat your mantra 108 times daily for it to be most effective. This is because, “<span style="color: #3366ff;"><a style="color: #3366ff;" href="https://www.yogiapproved.com/om/3-sanskrit-mantras-boost-meditation-practice/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">in Vedic culture, the Mathematicians saw the number 108 as the wholeness of existence</a></span>.” In doing so, you are aligning yourself with the will of the universe and its creative life force.</p>
<p>Others believe that reciting multiple times for 40 days in a row invokes change. This idea is based around examples of Buddha and Jesus Christ. Based on this belief, it took 40 days of daily meditation for life changes to occur.  (In using this 40-day meditation ritual, if a day is missed, you must begin again at day 1. Otherwise, it would not be as effective, according to those who practice it.)</p>
<p>But reciting your mantra can really be used at any time throughout your day to reap benefits. The more you repeat it, the better aligned with it you will become. In this way, <strong>you can always use this as a tool for stilling your mind.</strong></p>
<h4><strong>Mantras for Meditation</strong></h4>
<p>During meditation, you would repeat your mantra silently or out loud for the time you are meditating.  Meditating daily in this way is most helpful. The goal of this practice is to rise above the everyday activity of your mind.</p>
<p>The type of mantra that works best in this capacity is one where you are <strong>not</strong> focused on any specific idea or outcome. So affirmation mantras, while helpful in other ways, wouldn’t tend to work as well in this setting as a tool for focusing the mind during meditation.</p>
<p>Because this type of mantra has no meaning to your conscious mind, you are able to simply focus on the word or phrase. The thought or sound vibrations assist you in accessing a heightened state of awareness.</p>
<h4><strong>Mantras to Energize an Intention</strong></h4>
<p>Alternatively, you could choose an affirmation as a mantra to repeat (silently or out loud) for specific periods of time throughout your day. Using a mantra in this way will help to energize your intention with heightened awareness.</p>
<p>During the course of the day, when you feel stressed or out of balance, you would repeat your chosen word or phrase to calm your mind and bring you back into focus.</p>

<p>Choosing a mantra will depend on how you intend to use it – whether for meditation or to energize an intention. There is no single way to choose one. But you DO want to choose one that has positive connotations rather than one that you associate with any negativity.</p>
<p><strong>For meditation purposes, to assist in attaining a deeper meditative state, choose a single word or phrase. </strong> Traditionally, Sanskrit words are used for this purpose.  For example, using the word “Om” is said to be the sound of the universe or the primordial sacred sound. Another example is “Om Mani Padme Hum,” which is said to “<a href="https://www.yogapedia.com/2/8623/meditation/mantra/the-meaning-of-om-mani-padme-hum" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"><span style="color: #3366ff;">unlock the loving and unconditional qualities of compassion</span></a>.”</p>
<p><strong>To use a mantra for energizing an intention, focus on what you want to achieve.</strong> Then choose a word or phrase that aligns with your intention. Keep in mind that it should always represent your greatest good without attachment to a specific outcome. Some examples of affirmation mantras are: “Love surrounds me;” “I attract abundance in my life;” or “I am at peace with myself and the universe.”</p>
<p>However you choose to harness the benefits, there is no down side. Try various words of phrases (and methods) until you feel energized by it.  <strong>When you feel attuned to using a particular mantra, you will begin to enjoy the benefits of this <span style="color: #3366ff;"><a style="color: #3366ff;" href="https://iamfearlesssoul.com/what-is-your-one-word/">empowering daily practice</a></span>.</strong></p>

There are many different types of rituals that you can choose to practice, from specific ones based around aspects of your life self-care or health to more broad practices which support your overall life goals.</span></p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">Why are rituals important?</span></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Practising rituals help to <span style="color: #3366ff;"><a style="color: #3366ff;" href="https://iamfearlesssoul.com/tom-bilyeus-story/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">give your life purpose</a></span> and direction. We live in a world which is constantly competing for our attention, so learning to FOCUS is really important. When you set up rituals you give yourself specific, measurable targets that you can achieve no matter what else happens throughout your day.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Choose which area of your life you would like to set your rituals. Think about what outcome you want to achieve. Do you want better health, better relationships, more money or a combination of all of them?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Next, make a list of some actions that you know will benefit you and drive you towards those outcomes if you completed them on a daily basis. For example, if you want to achieve better self-care you could try adding a ritual for deep breathing or drinking more water.</span></p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The following rituals are broad rather than specific and can support your overall sense of wellbeing and happiness. Use them as a guide or even expand upon them and add more specific ones depending on your personal goals.</span></p>

<h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">1- Daily Brain Dump</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">A daily brain dump helps to release the mental pressure of our never-ending “to-do” lists. You can choose to do a brain dump in the morning or evening, or you can do both! All you need is a pen and paper. Start writing out all of the thoughts you are having, the things you need to get done and keep going until there is nothing left. Take a deep breath, you did it! You can then choose to use the information in step 4- Plan your day.</span></p>

<h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">2- Meditation</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Meditation is a no-brainer &#8211; see what I did there? Seriously though, learning to incorporate a daily meditation practice into your life is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself. Even if you do 5 minutes a day, your body and mind will thank you for it. </span></p>

<h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">3- Move Your Body </span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The human body was <span style="color: #3366ff;"><a style="color: #3366ff;" href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6He7MWSn6j0&amp;t=1908s" target="_blank" rel="noopener">designed to MOVE</a></span>. Not sitting in front of a computer! Take your health into your hands and spend some time every day moving your body. 7 minutes a day is all you need. Take a walk. Practice yoga at home. Take a class. Whatever you do, just commit to doing it daily.</span></p>

<h2><span style="font-weight: 400;">4- Plan Your Day </span></h2>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Scheduling your day is key to remaining focused on what is important to you. Get clear and intentional about what you want to achieve, then plan your life around those things. Start by writing down the tasks you need to complete each day. Prioritise each task, then set about completing them. Own your time or it will own you.</span></p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<span class="cb-itemprop" itemprop="reviewBody"><p>As tiny babies, we come into this world full of power. While we don’t have physical power or intellectual power yet, we are born with the innate ability of being comfortable fully expressing ourselves.</p>
<p>We don’t worry that our crying will annoy our parents or worry that our thighs are too big. Unfortunately, as we gain physical and intellectual power, this ultimate capacity for loving ourselves and believing in ourselves can get stripped away.</p>
<p>Society tells us that we need to be a certain way to fit in. Our families often perpetuate these stories out of a desire to keep us safe. Negative events happen and we rack up the wounds of living in a physical body on Earth. Some of us experience more trauma than others, but we all hold the scars of living in an imperfect world.</p>
<p>Over time, we tend to give away bits of our power. Sometimes, we unconsciously decided that having our power in a situation wasn’t safe. Other times, our power may have been forcibly taken away by others. We may have even chosen to give our power away because it felt easier to allow someone else to control our lives.</p>
<p>Later, many of us wake up and realize that we don’t feel as fulfilled and happy as we’d like. Maybe we find ourselves in relationships, jobs or living situations that aren’t what we actually wanted.</p>
<p>Fortunately, we can reclaim our power. In doing so we are able to shift not only the outer situations in our lives but how we feel about ourselves and who we know ourselves to be.</p>
<p>While getting your power back is an ongoing process, there are some simple steps you can take on a daily basis that will help you reclaim more and more of your power.</p>
<h2><a href="https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alchemy" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><span style="color: #333333;">Alchemist</span></a> Michelle Martin Dobbins Explains How To Get Your Power Back</h2>
<h3>Step 1: Decide to Claim Your Power Back</h3>
<p>Before you can effectively get your power back, you have to realize that you no longer possess all of your power and make the decision to gain it back. This is an energetic process and one you will likely have to repeat daily. One of the ways I decided to be my most powerful self was by creating a statement of being. My current statement of being is:</p>
<p>I am a radiant, beautiful, magical author, alchemist and teacher who expands the joy, love, magic and delight in my life and the lives of those I touch.</p>
<p>You can create yours in 5 simple steps:</p>
<p>Start with the words “I am,” then list who you have decided to be in the world. Then, add the word “who” and fill in what you are going to do in the world. Think big. You are already impacting the world every single day. You might as well decide how you want to do it.</p>
<p>Once you get it written in a way that makes you smile, memorize it and also, write it down in places you will later see it.</p>
<p>Follow your decisions and be who you have decided to be. No one can stop you.</p>
<p>Don’t share it with anyone unless you are 100% sure they will be supportive.</p>
<h3>Step 2: Daily Visualization or Meditation</h3>
<p>Personal power is a metaphysical, beyond the physical, concept and in order to get your power back some of the work will be internal. Take a few minutes each morning to call back your power by visualizing it returning. You could also meditate on how you feel now that you have your power back. This will help you to cement the decision into your body and remind you to take action daily to get your power back.</p>
<h3>Step 3: Release Old Stories and Heal Wounds</h3>
<p>There are many ways to release old patterns of giving away your power. Traditional therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique or tapping, the Sedona Method, and Byron Katie’s The Work are all different ways of releasing old stories and gaining back your power. Do some research and try out different releasing techniques.</p>
<p><span style="color: #3366ff;"><a style="color: #3366ff;" href="https://iamfearlesssoul.com/benefits-of-journaling/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Journaling</a></span> can also be helpful. Take some time to write and answer questions such as “If I had my full power, I would…” or “What would I be doing if I fully owned my power?’”</p>
<p>We can’t change the past but we can do the work to heal and release it.</p>

<h3>Step 4: Practice Self-Care</h3>
<p>Part of getting your power back is taking care of yourself. When we wait for others to meet our needs in the world, we give away big chunks of our power. That’s not to say that we can’t accept help from others, but when it comes to loving ourselves and knowing that we are a worthy person, we have to go first.</p>
<p>I even created a daily love list for myself of twenty self-care items and make sure I check off at least 10 a day. It can be something like mindfully putting lotion on after my shower or more outside my comfort zone like asking someone for help.</p>
<p>You are worth the time to take loving actions and think loving thoughts about yourself. This isn’t selfish. It’s necessary to care for yourselfves before you will be capable of caring for others. We can’t wait for anyone else to give us permission. Give it to yourself.</p>
<h3>Step 4: Establish Boundaries</h3>
<p>As we gain our power back, we start to notice the ways in which we have allowed our power to leak away from us. We say yes when we want to say no. We allow people to treat us in ways that don’t value us as a person. Our relationships with others can bring great fulfillment if we establish boundaries that protect our power.</p>
<p>One of the boundaries I’ve created is to set specific times that I answer emails, look at social media, or respond to client messages. By creating boundaries. I can make sure I do my most important tasks such as my spiritual practice and my creative work first. If I start with helping other people, I never seem to make time for my most powerful work in the world.</p>
<h3>Step 5: Repeat Daily to Get Your Power Back</h3>
<p>Getting our power back is a process that we have to make part of our daily life. It gets easier as we let go of the past and create habits of self-care and clean boundaries. There will always be aspects of society that would gladly take your power if you don’t keep up these practices as part of your life.</p>
<p>When you get your power back, not only will it help you create a joyful and fulfilling life, but you help heal the world. The more people who stand in their power, the more space we create for others to do the same.</p>
