<p>So many people are seeking that ever elusive, magical word: SUCCESS.</p>
<p>They are seeking it, but they don’t really know WHY and most often, they don’t even know what SUCCESS really looks like to them.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>They are “working hard” to achieve success.</strong><br />
<strong>They are “trying” everything to reach success.</strong><br />
<strong>They are “struggling” and “Fighting” for that one thing, that one goal or dream that will, in their mind be their definition of success.</strong><br />
<strong>But what they really need to do is&#8230; Drop the idea of success. </strong></p></blockquote>
<blockquote><p><strong>Drop the idea of success. You only want success because you believe success will make you happy. So instead, focus on doing things that make you happy. Success will come, but don’t let it define you.</strong></p></blockquote>
<p>Focus on working on yourself (self development) every single day. Reading. Learning. Meditation daily. Gratitude daily&#8230; And doing things that genuinely make you feel good, success will come. Do not let it define you.</p>
<p>But, they will say&#8230; “You’re wrong. Your answer is misplaced. That is not the reason I want success”&#8230;</p>
<p>I can tell you the answer is not misplaced. If you listen to ANY of the great coaches and teachers&#8230; If you read ANY of the great self development books, they all point to this fact.</p>
<p>If you study human behaviour, and pay attention to ANYONE when they tell you WHY they really want to achieve ANYTHING AT ALL&#8230; It all comes back to one answer. The answer is not based off opinion, it is based off the truth, which you will hopefully learn, when you start your journey into these books and learning from the great teachers.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>If you don&#8217;t want success, because you believe (consciously or unconsciously) it will make you happy, please tell me why you want it? No matter what answer you give, when you drill down into it, you believe in doing so it will make you happy.</strong></p></blockquote>
<p>Do you want to make your parents proud?  Why?  &#8230; You believe it will make you happy in doing so. Consciously or unconsciously.</p>
<p>Do you want to prove someone wrong?  Why?  &#8230; You believe it will make you happy in doing so. Consciously or unconsciously.</p>
<p>Do you want to achieve greatness or something similar?  Why?  &#8230;You believe it will make you happy in doing so. Consciously or unconsciously.</p>
<p>Do you want to be able to give back to others or create a better life for your family?  Why?  &#8230;You believe in doing so, it will make you happy. Consciously or unconsciously.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>There is no question. No doubt. Everything&#8230; every reason you really want success for, is because you believe you will feel better in having it. </strong></p></blockquote>
<p>No sane person can argue against that. And there is nothing wrong with that&#8230; it is the SAME FOR EVERY HUMAN BEING ON THIS PLANET.  Every person, that wants ANY THING, any achievement, any relationship, any thing at all, wants it, because they believe at some level they will feel better in having it.</p>
<p>What better way is there to live, than to do every day, that which makes you happy?  That is the only success. THE ONLY REAL SUCCESS</p>
<p>If you happen ACHIEVE something, a goal, a dream accomplished, a trophy, a sum of money&#8230; anything&#8230; and you are NOT HAPPY&#8230; how could you call that a success?&#8230;  You can’t.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>Happiness is the only success.</strong><br />
<strong> Living a life of your choosing, is the only success. </strong></p></blockquote>
<p>To be very clear, this does not mean you should throw away your goals, or stop striving to achieve your goals and dreams. You can and should still do that.</p>
<p>You can and should still be working on yourself, pushing yourself, getting better and growing every day.</p>
<p>BUT, you should never be blindly chasing an IDEA of success, for no conscious reason, only because you think you will look better&#8230; or be seen as better by others when you achieve it.</p>
<p>Sometimes you just need to take a step back, and ask yourself honestly: WHY?</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>WHY do I really want this?</strong><br />
<strong>Will it make me happy IN THE END?</strong><br />
<strong>Will it make me happy at all?</strong><br />
<strong>Is it worth sacrificing for, working hard for, is it worth my time and effort? </strong></p></blockquote>
<p>If the answer is yes&#8230; GREAT &#8211; that’s called purpose.<br />
If the answer is NO&#8230; Drop the idea of success, and instead pursue what makes you happy.</p>
<p>The only real success.</p>

<p>If you should live by one simple principle in life, I would like to suggest it be this:   Do what makes you happy.   Seriously, because, in finding and doing that which makes you happy, you will attract more to be happy about.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>  The positive energy you put out, by doing the things that truly make you happy, attracts more positive energy back to you.   So, it makes perfect sense, to eliminate or reduce everything that makes you unhappy, anything that gives you negative feelings, and replace those things with more of the things that make you feel alive, joyful, abundant, happy and free.  </strong></p></blockquote>
<h2><strong>Here are 5 simple tips to bring more happiness into your life.</strong></h2>
<p>If you do all 5, on a consistent basis, you will soon be living an amazing, truly fulfilled life.</p>
<p>The first is to spend time with people who are good for your mental health.<br />
Second is to CHOOSE to see the good, the lesson or the blessing in everything.<br />
Third is to LIVE YOUR WAY. Follow your intuition and to not feel guilty for doing things your own way.<br />
Fourth is to take care of yourself. Your physical, mental and spiritual health.<br />
And finally the fifth is to Believe, trust and let go.</p>
<p>Let’s dive in to each part, so you can better understand and apply them in your life.</p>
<h2><strong>  Number 1. Spend time with people who are good for your mental health. </strong></h2>
<p>Be picky with who you <a href="https://iamfearlesssoul.com/beautiful-things-happen-when-you-distance-yourself-from-negativity/"><span style="color: #3366ff;"><strong>choose to spend time with</strong></span></a>. You can’t get that time back and wasted time is far worse than wasted money.</p>

<p>The people in your life should be a source of happiness not a vacuum that sucks it out of you.   Don’t let anyone drain your happiness like that. Choose those who fill you up, those who light you up, those with positive energy.</p>
<p>If you can’t find them immediately in person, find them in books, in podcasts or in self development videos.</p>
<p>Once you change and grow yourself, and make yourself that person with the positive energy, the right people with matching energy will show up.</p>

<p>Eat well. Read positive and transformative books. Study yourself. Develop Yourself. Go deeper. Transform further.</p>

Focus on the feeling of knowing it is done and you now have clean plates! Do the same process for all of the things you want to achieve in your day.</span></p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="color: #00aeef;">3</span>. Smile! <span style="color: #999999;">| Powerful Ways To Have A Great Day</span></span></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">There are some days when we simply do not feel like smiling or “putting on a happy face”. But science has proven that simply using your face to smile or even putting on a fake smile will increase your feelings of happiness. Neurologist Dr. Isha Gupta says that a smile sparks a chemical reaction in the brain, releasing certain hormones including dopamine and serotonin. “Dopamine increases our feelings of happiness. Serotonin release is associated with reduced stress. Low levels of serotonin are associated with depression and aggression.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Researchers at the University of Kansas published findings that smiling even helps to reduce the body’s response to stress and lower heart rate in stressful situations.</span></p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="color: #00aeef;">4</span>. Breathe <span style="color: #999999;">| Powerful Ways To Have A Great Day</span></span></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Well obviously you are breathing, or you’d be dead right?! This is true, however, the fact is a lot of us are not breathing properly. That is, we are not breathing deeply, slowly or regularly enough. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Breathing is useful for more than just staying alive. Breathing helps to activate the autonomic nervous system, which regulates certain body processes such as digestion, blood pressure and heart rate. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In times of stress, we ten to hold or restrict our breath and over time that can become a habit. A habit like that is definitely not ideal for managing moods or creating wellbeing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Right now, try taking a long slow inhale of 6 seconds, then slowly exhaling for 6 seconds. Notice, how does your body feel? What about your mind? A lot can change from just one breath! Imagine what could happen if you began to mindfully focus your attention on your breath every day. The long terms effects can be phenomenal.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It’s safe to say that not all days will be good days. That is an unrealistic expectation to hold of yourself. But, with a few simple tools like the above practised consistently, you can give yourself the best chance of having a great day, no matter what happens around you.</span></p>

<p>Maybe about a year ago&#8230; I remember I was in San Diego. We were in Mission Beach and sand kind of comes in and out of the house&#8230; I remember at one point walking through and feeling the sand on my feet and being like &#8220;oops&#8221;. So I grabbed the broom and I was literally just sweeping the kitchen.</p>
<p>One of my friends walked by. He is very funny, he&#8217;s in real estate. He listens to a lot of those programs on how to like maximize your business and grow your business and how to properly apply your time and optimize everything you&#8217;re doing. Which, I love that stuff.</p>
<p>And he kind of poked his head in, he&#8217;s like: What are you doing? And it was probably like, I don&#8217;t know, 11am, 12 noon, somewhere in there.</p>

<p><em><strong>I&#8217;m like &#8220;I&#8217;m sweeping the floor.</strong></em><br />
He&#8217;s like &#8220;oh bro, let me tell you, I just listened to something by some guy who&#8217;s making millions of dollars and he said, you should never be doing things that you can pay someone less to do if your time is worth more.&#8221;</p>
<p>I was like, what do you mean? He&#8217;s like, well how much would you pay someone to sweep the floor for you?<br />
<em><strong>I don&#8217;t know, 20 bucks an hour? I don&#8217;t know, 16, 20, 30, I don&#8217;t know.</strong></em><br />
And he&#8217;s like: Exactly, how much could you charge if you went and did the thing that you&#8217;re the best in the world at?<br />
<em><strong>Probably more?</strong></em><br />
And he was like: Exactly. You should be doing that and you should be paying them to do this.<br />
<em><strong>And I said, &#8220;What&#8217;s the point?&#8221;</strong></em><br />
And he said, because then you can scale your business and grow it.<br />
<em><strong>And?</strong></em><br />
And then you can hire more people and provide more jobs in the community.<br />
<em><strong>And?</strong></em><br />
You can make more money and add more value to the people&#8217;s lives you&#8217;re trying to change.<br />
<em><strong>And?</strong></em><br />
Eventually you can grow it and scale it and become a business owner instead of a business operator, and at that point you have this four hour work week where you check in a couple days a week and make sure everything&#8217;s running perfectly and then you can finally sit back and enjoy your life.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>I said okay&#8230; I said but crazy question&#8230; If I can&#8217;t enjoy sweeping the floor right now what makes you think I&#8217;m gonna enjoy any a that?</strong></p></blockquote>
<p>I said it sounds cool. I said on the other hand though if I could learn how to fall in love with sweeping the floor right now I bet I could enjoy every step of that journey no matter where it takes me.</p>
<blockquote><p><strong>And there was this weird feeling of coming back to <a href="https://iamfearlesssoul.com/i-am-rich-powerful-affirmations-wealth-abundance/"><span style="color: #3366ff;">I am enough</span></a>. Can I be enough, just being. In the simplest moments, doing the simplest things&#8230; but they start to become profound because I can be enough in those moments without having to do anything beyond be in that moment and just do the things that are in front of me.</strong></p></blockquote>
<p>Now that&#8217;s not fair to say cause there&#8217;s some parts of the world where you can be really happy doing simple stuff like that but more help is needed right now. There&#8217;s things that absolutely need to change. But at the same time, if you&#8217;re so in a hurry to try to change all those things, then you never take time to enjoy the process or feel like you&#8217;re enough on the journey. I hate to tell you, when you get to the result at the end, you&#8217;re only going to be disappointed, thinking that you&#8217;ll finally feel like enough on the other side.</p>

<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The philosophical concept behind the term is that there is a universal bond that connects all of humanity to each other. Simply put, Ubuntu means we are all one.</span></p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">Desmond Tutu explained the concept in this way.</span></h3>

That my humanity is caught up, bound up, inextricably, with yours. When I dehumanize you, I dehumanize myself. The solitary human being is a contradiction in terms. <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">The Ubuntu concept is that we each exist as an extension of one another. We are all innately connected through our being here on Earth at the same time. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">When one person suffers, we all suffer. When one person rejoices, we all rejoice.</span></p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">What a beautiful idea.</span></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">It makes me wonder what the world would look like if every person on the planet embraced the concept of Ubuntu?</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">What would we see if this oneness spread itself across the globe, through all races and religions? </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Sadly, the current state of the world is anything but connected. Everywhere we turn we see disconnect There are wars being fought because we insist on division. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">On a global scale, we insist on choosing righteousness over the connection to others. We insist on holding on to the pain of the past and using it to fuel the wars of the present.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Further to this global issue, on person to person level, we are not connecting either. Many of us are hiding our truth and avoiding the vulnerability of sharing ourselves with our fellow humans.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Concepts along the lines of “suffer in silence, don’t share your wins, don’t share your pain” all feed into the separation consciousness.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is tragic because, at the deepest level, we all want to connect. Primally, we all want to love and we all want to feel accepted.</span></p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">So how can we bring the concept of <span style="color: #333333;">Ubuntu</span> into our own lives?</span></h3>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Really all that is required to embrace the concept of Ubuntu is to unpack and dissolve the idea that we are separate from one another. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">We need to remove the idea we are alone in this world, and that we have to fight to survive. We need to forget the teachings we have received that taught us one is better than another in terms of religion, race or social status, w</span><span style="font-weight: 400;">e need to learn to trust one another again.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Start at home, start by opening up to your friends and family. Build a community around yourself then allow others, no matter who they are to enter that community without judgement. Learn to lean on those around you at the same time as being a support to them.</span></p>
<h3><span style="font-weight: 400;">This is Ubuntu. </span></h3>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<span class="cb-itemprop" itemprop="reviewBody"><p>If you’re like most humans on Earth, you have times when you feel “not good enough.” Maybe it’s an occasional thing, or maybe it’s how you feel most times. In either case, when you’re feeling like you’re not good enough or wishing you were different – a better version of yourself – remember this: You are not alone in feeling that way. And <strong>you are not only good enough, but better than you realize. </strong></p>
<p>I’ll share a personal story that still affects me – one where I’m still learning from this single message. When I was much younger, still in high school and trying to figure out who I was in relation to others, I discovered something that turned things upside down for me. As an adult, it sticks with me as a reminder about how things can appear in the bigger picture.</p>
<p>I had always felt awkward, and I didn’t feel that I truly fit in with others. Rather than being open or connecting with others, I kept interactions at a surface level.</p>
<h3>I was too fearful to let anyone know the real me.</h3>
<p>So I threw myself into everything I could as a way to focus on anything but me. I joined the yearbook committee, community service committee, drama club, joined the track team, entered talent shows and sang my heart out, painted, and was near the top of my class academically. I dedicated myself until I excelled at everything I could attach myself to. You would think I felt amazing.</p>
<p><strong>I thought that by excelling in outward activities, I could feel worthy and “good enough” for others’ attention.</strong></p>
<p>The funny thing? I later learned that OTHERS viewed me as “standoffish” and they thought I was too good for them! Rather than endearing myself to others in trying to feel or be good enough at all (and still feeling inadequate), others were turned off or intimidated or unsure about connecting with me at all.</p>

<p><strong>Appearances matter – but not in the way you might think.</strong> I was “appearing” to be great and amazing and “good enough” by all the wrong standards. I projected an image of having it all together and being “successful” to my peers, when inside I felt entirely differently.</p>
<p>It’s great to strive to be the best version of YOU possible. But what I learned is that being authentically ME is what endears me to others (and myself). Loving myself – awkwardness, insecurities, triumphs, talents, challenges, and everything in between. Because <strong>we are not alone in feeling “not good enough.”</strong></p>
<p><strong>We connect more deeply with others when we trust that it’s okay to be honest about who we are.</strong> When we are fearless in our approach and embracing our own authenticity – good, bad, or mediocre – wherever we happen to be on a given day in that moment – and the next – every day.  <strong>You ARE good enough. And we are all works in progress.</strong></p>

<h2><strong>STRATEGIES AND REMINDERS FOR CULTIVATING FEELING &amp; BEING “GOOD ENOUGH”</strong></h2>
<p>Below are some strategies and reminders to help move you from thinking you are not good enough to realizing how amazing you truly are.</p>
<h3><strong><span style="color: #00aeef;">1</span>. Nurture Your Inner Child</strong></h3>
<p>We first develop our identities as children. But if you were not loved and nurtured in a way that supported a healthy self-loving attitude and understanding, your inner child needs to be healed. Take some time to consider what your inner child needs as if he or she were a real child – sitting in front of you and needing love and encouragement. What would you say to that child? <strong>Give your inner child all of the love and care you would give to any child who needed it.</strong> By doing this, you are building the inner foundation you need to grow and shine most brightly.</p>
<h3><strong><span style="color: #00aeef;">2</span>. When You Feel Not Good Enough, Remember: We Are All Works in Progress</strong></h3>
<p><strong>When you see others you deem as “successful,” remember that appearances are not always what they seem.</strong> We generally see in others only what they project, so until you really connect with someone at deeper levels, surface assumptions are most often limited and incorrect. Refrain from comparing yourself to others and bring your attention back to yourself. Focusing on your own progress and choices will be more far effective and authentic.</p>
<h3><strong><span style="color: #00aeef;">3</span>. Accept and Embrace Who You Are Today &#8211; In This Moment</strong></h3>
<p><strong>In order to be the best version of ourselves, we first need to be honest about who we are today – right now.</strong> So strip it down to the core without illusions. Spend time thinking about who you are, what you value, and every little thing that makes you unique and special. Perfection is overrated. If we were all “perfect,” the world would be a very boring place. It’s our very imperfections that add character and delight others. So accept yours and own them without excuses!</p>
